Lakeview Families exists to make sure no family does life alone.

LAKEVIEW FAMILIES

Life with young kids is full. Finding genuine community in the middle of it is not always easy. Family Connect Groups are a simple, low-pressure way to change that.

Small groups of Lakeview families gather once a month for a casual social hangout, with no heavy agenda and no expectations beyond showing up and connecting. Over time, these monthly gatherings become real friendships for both parents and kids.

Groups run from September through June and are formed by our pastoral team after you sign up.

    Lakeview Kids

    A safe, fun, and age-appropriate space every Sunday for kids from Nursery through Grade 5 to encounter the love of Jesus and make friends along the way.

    Lakeview Youth

    A community for students in Grades 6 through 12 to build real friendships and discover what it means to trust and follow Jesus through the teenage years.

    Child Baptism

    CHILD BAPTISM is a family's declaration of their submission to the mission of God. It proclaims: "We say; 'YES' by declaring Jesus as Lord and we are committing to His body, the church."

    CHILD DEDICATION is a family's declaration of their commitment to raise their child in the ways of Jesus, trusting that one day that child will choose believer baptism as an expression of their personal faith in Jesus.

Lakeview Families FAQ

  • We will be holding these services November 15, February 14 and May 9

  • We know it's hard to find community when kids are young and life is busy. We have started family connect groups that get together once a month to help build community.

  • Periodically we will have physical take home resources available in the kids' lobby. We will also host a few Potluck and Practice events where families can come together for a potluck and learn about a practice they can incorporate into their home. For part of the event, kids and parents will separate into their own times.
