Cash and cheques are collected in the GIVE boxes located in the auditorium; debit and credit cards can be processed at the Info Centre.

Making a gift of stocks or mutual funds (publicly traded securities) is simple.
If you sell stocks or mutual funds privately, you are taxed on 50% of the capital gains. However, if you gift stock or mutual funds directly to Lakeview Church, you pay no tax on the capital gains while also receiving a donation tax receipt for the full market value of the stock or mutual fund.

WAYS TO GIVE
Spending of funds is confined to Lakeview Church approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by Lakeview Church, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
Rooted in a history of fighting for freedom and equality, the Free Methodist Church in Canada plants and supports congregations committed to sharing the love of Jesus, alleviating suffering, and advocating for the vulnerable, the oppressed, and the marginalized.
