Joining God in the Renewal of All Things – Through the Joy of Childhood and Play
LAKEVIEW EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
At Lakeview Early Learning Centre, we believe that we are called to join God in the renewal of all things—beginning with the hearts and lives of children. Every child is made in the image of God, full of wonder, purpose, and potential.
Through loving care, play-based learning, and faith-formed practices, we nurture children to grow into who God created them to be. We embrace the movements of Lakeview Church.
Our Movements
-
Live in Community
We love seeing the friendships that are formed in our classrooms. We are overjoyed when we hear of kids having play dates and going to birthday parties. We’ll work with you to help you get to make those meaningful relationships.
A few times a year, we will have family events where you can come and hang out as a family and get to know the other families in our community.
-
Grow Spiritually
We believe that faith begins with wonder. God invites every person into God’s big story, for it is only there that we discover who we are. From a young age, the question “Who am I?” is wired into each of us, and God alone can provide the answer.
We pray before meals and have a weekly chapel. We take time to notice where we have seen God at work throughout the day.
-
Be Faithfully Present
Kids learn that they can receive God’s love, and give it away. Our kids have shown compassion by doing things like making cards for their friends in the hospital and having celebration send-offs for friends that move away.
Our families have shown compassion by collecting items for MCC’s Buckets of Thanks. We love to show kids that they can do big things for people even when they are little.
