Take Action for
reconciliation
In the months of May and June we want to challenge our church community to ‘Take Action for Reconciliation’
As a church we have been on a journey to understand our history in this land alongside our call to Truth & Reconciliation with the Indiengous people who called this land home long before our church arrived. We believe that Jesus calls us on a journey towards authentic Relationship and Reconciliation. At Lakeview, this has taken the form of learning, listening, reflecting, and engaging.
This May and June, we encourage you to ‘Take Action for Reconciliation’. Challenge yourself to learn about what Reconciliation means for you personally, for our church, and for the land we live on.

Our journey.
In 2019 our church began a collective journey with our Renewal Artists series on Reconciliation. It was the beginning of understanding what our role in reconciliation is and has led us to continue this journey today.
We encourage you to listen to this series as a refresher if you heard it initially or to understand our journey if you are new.
Additionally, throughout the months of May and June, our Kids Ministry and Cafe have committed to raising money for Reconciliation Saskatoon. Reconciliation Saskatoon is a community of organizations, non-profits, businesses, faith communities and partners that have come together to initiate a citywide conversation about reconciliation and provide opportunities for everyone to engage in Calls to Action.
