Life is going to be challenging for everyone in the next few weeks and months.  Even though we can't exist together in the ways we have in the past, we can still care and pray for one another.

Here are the ways that you can ask for and offer prayer and care through Lakeview Church:

1. Email to have emerging prayer requests shared by members of our community delivered to your inbox.  Please also send your prayer requests to

2. Click the Formation button on the front page of our website or check our Facebook page beginning next Wednesday for daily prayer nudges. We can bridge the distance we feel by joining together in prayer for the same requests.

Many people are experiencing cutbacks in their industries or are struggling to get out for groceries and medications.  Others may need someone to check in on them.

Do you have something you can offer? Perhaps you can purchase a gift card to help provide the basic needs for a struggling family or have the time and energy to run some errands.  Maybe you can pick up the phone to regularly check in on someone who is alone. Let us know.

Do you need something?  Let us know.  It's far easier to offer help than to ask for it, but please let us know if you need something.  By letting others step in and help us when we are vulnerable, we learn how to live more compassionately ourselves.

Do you know of someone who needs something but you aren't able to fill the need?  Let us know and we'll do our best to help.

For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself.  -Galatians 5:14
