LENTEN PRACTICES

For the season of Lent, we are focusing on 5 spiritual practices of detachment. While these aren’t the most trendy practices, they have the capacity to bring freedom by helping us relinquish control, or become aware of how we’ve allowed good gifts in our lives to control us.  

As we engage practices like fasting, solitude, silence, confession and simplicity, we are reoriented again around God, our loving Creator, and let go of compulsions that keep us from flourishing.
