Power Hour , Children's Ministry (Birth - Grades 5)
Power Hour Director: Nancy Luross and Sandy Wiebe
Lakeview's Children’s Ministry, POWER HOUR, provides your children with an always loving, fun environment in which they can learn about God and His love for them, and how they can love and share Jesus with others.
Active and creative, Power Hour uses drama, puppets, live music, multimedia, and whatever else is relevant in the kids’ lives to teach and share about God. All lessons are derived from the Bible. All leaders are committed to supplementing your efforts to build a spiritual foundation that hopefully will lead, in God's timing, to a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
Because God loves each and every child, each one is important to our Power Hour staff. We've designed the entire ministry to be child-centered, with an age-specific focus for every age level. Various creative means are used to communicate meaningfully to the children. Our leaders are dedicated to showing children how the principles in the Bible can be used effectively in their lives. Children also have an opportunity to build relationships with Small Group Leaders who are interested in their lives and care about them.

Kindergarten – Gr. 5
Our goal is to make your child’s time at church a great experience – the best hour of their week! We want to teach them about who God is, the wonderful things He gives us, and the amazing things He can do for us. Each week we share new stories, dramas, characters, multimedia, songs and lessons. We teach from the Bible, and apply it to the lives of a Kindergarten to Grade 5 student.

Preschool: Ages 2 - 4
Your child will begin learning Bible stories that are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate, as well as fun. The weekend program includes playtime, singing and crafts that all work together to reinforce the Bible lesson for each week.

Nursery: Newborn - Age 2
Loving, caring, trained staff will nurture your infant or toddler in a safe, fun, comfortable environment so that you can relax while you worship, knowing your child is well cared for. |
