The 5 Foundation Classes
Schedule/Times:
The 5 Foundation Classes provide a foundation for spiritual growth. These are one-session classes with no specific order, so you may decide where you want to begin. Four of these classes will be offered in April. Please see the class descriptions below, and sign up at the Information Centre in the Lobby, or contact Laurie Bletsky for more information.
WHY CHURCH?
This class provides an introduction to church. We will touch on worship, the ways to help grow your spiritual life, fellowship, spreading the news about Jesus, and the role of regular church attenders in the life of the church. Why Church? will be offered on Sat, April 12, 10am - noon, with instructor Jacqueline Kroeker.
S.H.A.P.E.
Each follower of Christ has a special S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences). This class helps you find out what makes you unique and how you can serve others on the journey. S.H.A.P.E. will be offered on Sat, April 12 from 10am - 1pm, with instructor Gloria Reimer.
SHARING THE FAITH JOURNEY
Jesus calls his followers to love God and love others. This class will challenge you to put Jesus' words into action. Sharing the Faith Journey will be offered on Thurs, April 17 from 7 - 9 pm, with instructor Jacqueline Kroeker.
GOD, ME, & THE BIG PICTURE
This class centers on discovering God's overall purpose for His creation as we read and learn from the Bible. God, Me & the Big Picture will be offered on Thurs, April 24 from 7 - 9pm, with instructor Jacqueline Kroeker.
