Tell us about your family?
Since we’re in the witness protection program, I can’t say anything…
If you were a superhero, what would your name be?
Spiderman is the greatest ever so I’d want to be his sidekick like web-boy or spider buddy or lil’arachrid.
On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you need coffee in the morning?
Zero – coffee is for chumps.
What’s your least favourite word, phrase or sentence?
“could I see you in my office for a moment…”
Hypothetically speaking (because Saskatoon is of course the finest city in the world), if you could live anywhere else, where would that be?
Somewhere even colder and flatter.
What’s your favourite holiday of the year?
Halloween! Free candy? C’mon! And now that I have kids it’s even better cuz they do all the work and I eat their candy after they go to bed.
What’s your favourite TV show?
My name is Earl, Sportscenter
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
Once I was teasing on of our jr high girls about always wearing her hair in front of her face. I asked “what’s the matter? Got a glass eye or something?” She lifted up her hair and yep…she had a glass eye. I told that story to a group of people once, and as I was talking about the way the girl wore her hair, I pointed to one of them as an example cuz she was wearing her hair in front of her face too and yep…she had a fake eye also. I think odds of being hit by lightning twice are better than that.
What recharges your batteries?
A battery recharger.
What’s your favourite part about the ministry/job you do?
The students.
What’s the best movie you’ve seen in the last year?
X3, Talledago Nights
How would you describe the Edmonton Oilers? A great team, or the greatest team? Please explain.
$100 say they don’t even make it past the 1st round this year. Another great.
What’s the best book you’re read in the last year?
Emerging Churches. By Eddie Gibb.
What’s your favorite food?
Does beer count as food? Pizza is a close second.
How did you come to know Christ?
In grade 11 I got kicked out of high school and was making a huge mess of my life. I figured doing life my way wasn’t working so I thought I’d give God a try. 10 years later and we’re still journeying together!
Recent favourite sites on the web?
Lakeview still hasn’t given me a computer…
