Tell us about your family?
One amateur astronomer husband Bob, and two daughters - Amanda and Lindsay.

If you were a superhero, what would your name be?
I’d rather be the Julie Newmar version of Catwoman, who is more of a super villain, because she has a great outfit and I think she has a whip. Or maybe I just dreamed that part.

On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you need coffee in the morning?
I drink tea, but I really, really need it in the morning.

What’s your least favourite word, phrase or sentence?
Anything that sounds like it belongs on a band wagon, as in “emerging”, “wordsmithing”, “both/and”, etc. etc. They just get overused and abused.

Hypothetically speaking (because Saskatoon is of course the finest city in the world), if you could live anywhere else, where would that be?
Edmonton AB. Its like Saskatoon, only bigger.

What’s your favourite holiday of the year?
Thanksgiving, because I love the fall.

What’s your favourite TV show?
Judge Judy. If I can’t be Catwoman I want to be her.

What recharges your batteries?
Time with good friends.

What’s the best movie you’ve seen in the last year?
13 Conversations About One Thing.

How would you describe the Edmonton Oilers? A great team, or the greatest team? Please explain.
Sorry, I’m a Habs fan. Ouch. Great.

What’s the best book you’re read in the last year?
What We Ache For: Creativity and the Unfolding of Your Soul, by Oriah Mountain Dreamer.

How did you come to know Christ?
Many places: at Arlington Beach Camp when I was a teenager; during times of difficulty and sorrow; sharing spiritual life questions with good friends; working through grief and loss, and joy. It’s a lifelong journey.

Verses I live by, with God’s help:
Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things. Romans 2:1

If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. I Corinthians 13:1

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
