What is Lakeview Church?

Lakeview Church is not just a place and is much more than a building. It is a collective of people who desire an intimate relationship with God. There are some who desire to know Him better and still others who don't know Him at all. It is a diverse community of people with different backgrounds, races, personalities, ideas and visions; united by a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lakeview is a family. A family with members of all ages, the majority of whom are from 20 to 50 years of age. We are students, teachers, software designers and users. We work in retail and construction, we are parents and children. We are a collection of hockey players and golfers, band members and authors. We are brought together out of our desire to have a relationship with God and a desire to know him better. We hang out together, worship together and learn together. Our mission is that we reach out to seeking friends as we become committed, caring followers of Jesus Christ.

There is no set pattern or formula for what Lakeview is and we are as diverse as the people who gather here. Lakeview Church is, essentially, a family created by God and who are striving to know him more.
